Temporary adjustments to booking and cancellation policies

Disneyland® Paris Temporary Closure - Updated 30th October 2020

 

On 29th October Disneyland® Paris announced a temporary closure, due to the latest lockdown measures from the French government. Disneyland® Paris will now be closed from 30th October - 18th December 2020 and 4th January - 12th February 2021.

 

In line with the temporary closure, Disneyland® Paris have released adjustments to their booking and cancellation policies. If you are due to travel between 30th October - 18th December 2020 or 4th January - 12th February 2021, Disneyland® Paris offer the following options:

 

Hotel Bookings

Amend your booking to a different date - any prepaid monies will be transferred to the new booking and the difference will be refunded if the price is lower. If the price is higher, customers will need to pay the difference.

• Cancel your booking without fees and receive a refund on your accommodation and park tickets

 

Tickets & Annual Passes

• If you hold a non-dated ticket, it will remain valid with the same conditions and calendar depending on the ticket type, when the Parks reopen.

• If you have Disneyland® Paris Express Tickets valid during the closure period, the tickets will be cancelled and refunded in full.

• Tickets for Buffalo Bills Wild West Show not included in a hotel package and valid for a visit during the closure period, will be cancelled and refunded in full.

• Dated group tickets for a visit during the closure period will be cancelled and refunded, unless you choose to rebook them, subject to availability, at the same price up to 24 November 2020 for a new date of visit in an equivalent pricing period as the initial booking until 30 June 2021.

• If you hold an Annual Pass it will be extended for the number of days that the Parks remain closed.

 

If you are due to travel between 19th December 2020 - 3rd January 2021:

Your Disneyland® Paris holiday is still confirmed. We will contact you if the situation changes.

 

Please note that free cancellation doesn't apply to transport packages booked with MagicBreaks. Midcounties terms and conditions apply to transport packages.

Disney Cruise Line Terms & Conditions

Temporary adjustments to booking and cancellation policies

In line with direction from health experts and government officials, Disney Cruise Line has cancelled all sailings departing up to 12th December 2020.

 

Guests who wish to postpone their sailing date can do so by up to 15 months from their original sail date. Guests will now receive an additional future cruise credit equal to 25% of their original voyage fare to use toward the reservation modified. Once your modified reservation is paid in full, any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to your shipboard account as onboard credit. 

 

If your circumstances have changed and you would now like to cancel your reservation, you may do so for a full refund of the original voyage fare paid.

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida Terms & Conditions

Temporary adjustments to booking and cancellation policies

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida have released the following updated policy:

As a result of physical distancing, capacity in restaurants and availability of dining experiences is very limited and certain experiences such as Character dining cannot be provided. Because of this, we have also made the difficult decision to cancel and temporarily no longer offer Disney Dining plans. We recognise the inconvenience this poses and we’re deeply sorry.
 
As a result of these changes we have various options available to you, we encourage you to read the below information thoroughly to make a decision based on what is best for you. You may select one of the following options and advise us of your choice by 27 June 2020:

 

1. Accept the changes to the booking and travel as planned
If you wish to accept the revised booking without the Free or upgraded Dine Plan and at the discounted price, you will receive a refund of the difference in booking price if you have already paid in full, or a reduction in the balance due if you have not yet made final payment.

2. Decline the changes and cancel the booking
If you wish to decline the changes and cancel the booking you will receive a full refund of any amount paid to date.

3. Move the booking to a date in 2021
You have the option to modify the booking to a date in 2021 at no amendment fee, subject to availability and at the prevailing 2021 rate.
